Are we allowed to use a CAA record with our solution?

Sure, but if you do use a Certificate Authority Authorization Record (CAA), it is important that you add Comodo as the Certificate Authorizer (CA).

This is done by adding a new CAA record to your public DNS for the domains that you use for your Skype for Business solution with us.

If you fail to do this - and create a CAA record - it will have the effect that you will block the domain ordering process. Comodo will not be able to issue the certificate as they do not have permission to do so.

You can read more about what CAA records are right here.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at TDC Cloud Support.
